My dad called me on skype to tell me he’s not coming home this christmas… I hate that I can hardly ever see one of the few people in my family who I actually love and can stand. My mum should be the one working and living in Indonesia… we definitely wouldn’t miss her.

and family problems are back…

I was stuck and feeling zero motivation to continue my PhD research so I decided to quit and accepted a [quite good] job offer instead. *1st serious argument with my mother - “What are you doing with your life?”*

She finds out I’m dating someone else again, and that this someone else happens to be female. *2nd argument - “Oh Nikki, when will you stop this nonsense lesbian phase?”* (actually we’ve had this argument like 500 times before, but seems like she never gets tired of it).

She finds out that the girl is Turkish and suddenly starts a hateful bigoted racist speech. *3rd argument - madness.* Usually I don’t give a single fuck about her thoughts on the people I date, but seriously? You are a fucking immigrant to the UK, your parents were immigrants to Argentina, and now you complain because someone you don’t even know is from other country? REALLY?! Oh well, congratulations, your level of stupidity has just set a new record.

I officially give up on trying to comprehend this woman and what goes on in her head.

Last one was In Treatment, and that was like 4 months ago. I’m not a big fan of tv in general and don’t have the time either.

Whatever (preferably related to Chemistry) that makes enough money to afford travelling around the world and buying all the clothes, music, books and other shit I want.
